Come and learn all about Wareham town including parts of the towns Saxon walls. This is a 1 to 1.5 hour walk around the Wareham walls and areas within the walls. It will take place between 7.00pm and 8.30pm. The walk will be led by our local Wareham Museum historian ‘Bob Dean’.
Please wear sensible shoes, as parts of the walk will involve being on the town walls where access is difficult and steep, but most will be on level ground. Those with access difficulties should advise the tour guide at least 2 days before the walk (01929 550818) and we will try to sort out alternative routes with a separate knowledgeable guide, but cannot guarantee this.
Note: the Walls are unsuitable for those using wheelchairs or walking frames.
The walk starts at the Howards Lane car park in Wareham at 7.00pm, please meet up there.
The tour is Free, but £3.00 donations will be much appreciated.
Come and learn about some of Wareham’s varied and fascinating history.
